GENERAL SUMMARY

The Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine is looking for a qualified medical biller to join our team of board certified physicians and medical staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Processes and reviews reports within the billing system to research information required to complete the patient collection process.
• Reviews patient balances to ensure they are accurate.
• Correct claims and resubmit as necessary.
• Handles phone inquiries from patients regarding balances.
• Answers questions from check out regarding patient copays, deductibles and outstanding balances.
• Meet with patient face-to-face when patient is in office
• Confirm and verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
• Any other duties as assigned.

3-5 years of billing experience
