FLORIDA INSTITUTE FOR REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE
EGG CRYOPRESERVATION PREGNANCY SUMMARY DATA

Update January 2007

Number of Thawing Cycles 154
Clinical pregnancy rate per transfer(%) 33.9%
Babies Delivered 53
Ongoing Pregnancies 4

Our data shows on average it has required 19 eggs to produce a delivered baby or ongoing pregnancy — this data includes both infertile and fertile patients. If we look at the data only from women not believed to have an infertility problem, we find on average it requires 12 eggs to produce a delivered or ongoing pregnancy.
